Christina Ricci Steps in ‘The Matrix 4’

The Matrix Trilogy

The Matrix, released in 1999, is a benchmark movie in its category of sci-fi and action that still enjoys a colossal fan base across international boundaries. The Matrix made an enormous crowd insane with its exceptional storyline, characters, and heart-throbbing action. People were connected with Neo (the main lead in the movie) and his life story, where Neo awakens only to know about the Earth being taken over by human-made programs and humans deceived into a normal life virtually.

Though the VFX of the film could not compete with the video and audio effects used in contemporary movies, it still sets an exemplary benchmark of its time. Later, in 2003, the Wachowskis released the sequels named ‘The Matrix Reloaded’ and ‘The Matrix Revolutions’ with a hope to overtake their previous benchmarks. However, the other two movies could not get on to the nerves of their audience so well. They could not stand up to the expectations of their audience that had been set sky-high after the first part.

The Matrix 4

After releasing a much-celebrated movie that was quoted by the Total Film to be “the action film of the millennium” and adding two more applaudable creations to the matrix continuum, the Wachowskis are now ready to make a debut to the trilogy with the tentative title, The Matrix 4, in the list, all set to be released this year. After having a visual treat of watching The Matrix Trilogy, people have linked their high aspirations with the upcoming fourth edition of the story.

Christina Ricci added to the Matrix 4 Cast

The Matrix 4 has a glaring attribute attached to its name, with a lot of glamour included in the movie.
