Don’t accept everything you hear, especially if the source is a random guy on an airline who claims to be dating a model. In her new Netflix film, Good On Paper, comedian Iliza Shlesinger learns that lesson the hard way.
The film is about a stand-up comic named Andrea (Shlesinger) who falls in love with a guy named Dennis (Ryan Hansen), who claims to be an extremely successful Yale graduate. But it isn’t long before Andrea suspects Ryan isn’t who he claims to be. A stand-up comic meets a guy who looks perfect: smart, polite, successful… and potentially too good to be true after years of putting her career first.
