The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, set for April 25-28 and May 2-5, 2024, is shaping up to be an unforgettable musical extravaganza. Embodying the rich culture and heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana, this eight-day event is expected to draw nearly half a million fans. Headlining the festival are iconic bands and artists like The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, and Neil Young with Crazy Horse.
Joining these headliners is a star-studded lineup including The Killers, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Hozier, Jon Batiste, Queen Latifah, Vampire Weekend, and many more. This year’s festival boasts an eclectic mix of genres, featuring artists like Greta Van Fleet, Heart, Widespread Panic, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bonnie Raitt, and Earth, Wind & Fire. The 2024 Jazz Fest also highlights Colombia’s rich musical and cultural diversity. With 17 bands showcasing Colombian salsa, cumbia, champeta, vallenato, and more, the Expedia Cultural Exchange Pavilion will be a hub of vibrant performances and cultural exchange. Festival-goers can experience Colombian carnival spirit through daily parades leading to the Cultural Exchange Village, where they can interact with artisans, purchase crafts, and savor traditional Colombian food and drinks.
Ticket sales for the festival are already underway, with various options including weekend passes, VIP packages, and special payment plans. Notably, a new four-day GA+ weekend pass offers exclusive lounge access with amenities like private restrooms and a full-service bar. In addition to the musical feast, the Jazz Fest’s opening gala on April 24th at Generations Hall will be a celebration of Louisiana music and cuisine, with a focus on Colombia’s musical heritage.
