Jeremy Allen White, known for his captivating performances in “The Bear“ and “The Iron Claw,” is setting hearts racing as the star of Calvin Klein’s spring 2024 campaign.
In the campaign video directed by Mert Alas, White transitions from a white tank top and gym shorts to Calvin Klein’s iconic white boxer briefs. Scaling a New York City building’s rooftop, he flexes his strength with shirtless pull-ups and lounges on a couch on another platform, showcasing his physique.
Set to Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me,” the video is a visual treat for fans. Calvin Klein has also teased black-and-white photos of the actor in various states of undress on Instagram, with more images scheduled for release later in the week.
Jeremy Allen White gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Lip Gallagher in “Shameless” and continues to captivate audiences as chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in “The Bear.” His role in the latter earned him a Golden Globe in 2023 and a nomination for the 2024 ceremony.
When asked about the online fascination with his appearance, White expressed humility, stating, “Thanks for watching. I don’t know, I’m flattered. It surprises me, truly. But I’ll take it! I’ll take what I can get!”
Despite the internet’s thirst for his appearance, White maintains a level-headed approach, revealing that he doesn’t pay excessive attention to social media commentary. He appreciates the gradual nature of his rise to fame, acknowledging the challenges that can come with sudden stardom, especially for younger actors.
