What was “The Godfather” all about?
Vito Corleone, the Godfather, is the head of the Corleone mafia family in New York. He is attending his daughter’s wedding. Michael, Vito’s youngest son and a distinguished WWII Marine, attends the wedding as well. Michael appears uninterested in joining the family company.
Vito is a powerful man who is compassionate to those who appreciate him but merciless to those who do not. But when a powerful and ruthless opponent wants to sell drugs and requires Don’s support, Vito refuses. What follows is a battle between Vito’s dying old ideals and the new ways, which may force Michael to do what he was most hesitant to do: launch a mob war against all the other mafia families, potentially tearing the Corleone family apart.

Nikki Toscano also acts as showrunner, and Emmy-nominated writer Michael Tolkin wrote, and executive produced the 10-episode event series. Leslie Greif, along with Ruddy and Teller, acts as an executive producer on the show, and Rocketman’s Dexter Fletcher directs many episodes.
