To every 90’s kid, there are some pleasant memories of animation movies and series that have made childhood golden. Ninjai: The Little Ninja is one of them. Yes, I am talking about a cute little gem of an animation that was released in the early 2000s. Ninjai: The Little Ninja is a web-based Flash cartoon/animation which is about a ninja traveller named Ninjai. The story is all about this little ninja and his companion, a bird called “little bird” and their adventurous journey to slay demons and enemies.
This series was one of the best web-based animation series considering the story and the progressive improvement in the quality. The animation style was amazing at the time. In fact, there was a rumour that the Ninja team will release the sequences of this series and take this series to the big screen. But, ultimately, there was no one found to come across it. To me, Ninjai The Little Ninja was an amazing show with a top-class story. I agree that the whole thing was massive. But, you will get the top-notch taste of this series once you find out the unsure continuation and thank the creator, for sure.

As far as I know, making this thrilling series was not easy at that time. The designers even didn’t get the payment for their job and the situation made it tough to keep the project going on.
While talking about this series, I must say that it is not actually a series for children. It comes with such strong language and gruesome fight scenes that require a little fair warning. The charming and oddly calm manner made the series way more dramatic. This little and charming piece of animation history is about a little ninja traveller who roamed around the ancient world in search of the “self.” Throughout his journey, he met with his friends and foes. His characteristic voice gives a childish innocence flavour. But, when he was in the attacking mode against demons and enemies, you can see the deep sense of a warrior spirit.
This series maintained a deeply calm conviction inside this little boy with the help of his non-human friend. Even in the most gruesome of circumstances, this little ninja never failed to spread his charms through his character.
I can clearly remember a scene where this little ninja spoke out a prayer while submerged in the swamp/quicksand rather than saving his own life. This scene was so heart-touching that my partner was literally crying. This web series is that good and gives goosebumps, as well.

As an animation series, this one gets 10 on 10 due to the breathtaking landscapes and backgrounds and the cartoony style. It comes with original music that complimented the scenery and the story. This makes the series a greater masterpiece among all the web-based animation series. The voices of the characters over the series were incredible and outstanding, especially the voice of Ninjai. Such voices are so effective to make the series full of life.
The episodes were short but you can enjoy the whole show. It is original and entertaining. The story is cute but gruesome at the same time. Overall, this is an amazing web series you can enjoy if you love animation movies.
