Smith will helm the long-awaited sequel, which is presently in pre-production in New Jersey, from his own screenplay, with Liz Destro and Jordan Monsanto producing. All of the main cast members will return, including Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Jeff Anderson as Randal, and Rosario Dawson as Becky and Jay Mewes, and Smith as Jay and Silent Bob.
