Woo-hoo! You head it right, the beauty and the beast prequel series is coming soon on Disney+. The makers have officially announced the prequel. The beauty and the beast movie released in 2017, casting Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the beast, had crossed $1 billion and was a huge success; hence the prequel is decided to be released soon in Disney+.

The fantasy tale of beauty and the beast has been one of the significant stories of Disney and has been loved by all. Though the prequel won’t be the same, there are some changes made. The makers confirmed that the story in the prequel would start much before Belle and the Beast’s romance ever began. There will be too many twists and turns accompanied by action and romance. Any release date of Beauty and the Beast prequel?
There is no official releasing date confirmed yet, but according to the news, the prequel production will begin in the early spring of 2022. It will be an eight-episode limited series that will turn the tables. Many questions that might have stuck in the fan’s head will be answered in the prequel series.

“For anyone who’s ever wondered how a brute like Gaston and a goof like LeFou could have ever become friends and partners, or how a mystical enchantress came to cast that fateful spell on the prince-turned-beast, this series will finally provide those answers…and provoke a whole new set of questions.”, said Gary Marsh, the chief creative officer of Disney Branded Television, said in an interview.

The cast of the prequel?
As rumoured, Josh Gad and Luke Evans will again play the role of LeFou and Gaston. Tilly’s role will be played by Briana Middleton, who’s a newcomer.
